Even amid hardship and struggle, we can still have peace with God. But sometimes, we do not feel that we deserve such peace. How can God love people who have done horrible things and entertained awful thoughts?
God loves us deeply, so He sent His Son, Jesus Christ, to bridge the gap between us and God’s presence. It is His mercy and grace that instills peace within our spirits. By studying and memorizing Scripture, we come to have peace with God. Bible verses about peace turn our hearts away from our sinful desires and onto God’s righteousness.
You may want to write or print the following Bible verses about peace to carry with you. Surrounding yourself with God’s word increases the likelihood that you will recall the verses later when you need them most.
