Amanda Rowett, MA, LMHC
Licensed Counselor #LPCC-6578
God can make a new way even in the most difficult circumstances. Every life is a story filled with chapters of happiness, tragedy, joy, sadness, and triumph. As a Christian counselor, I provide you with a safe, loving, and grace-filled space in which you can get comfortable and freely examine the pages of your life. Together we will read between the lines and explore the meaning of each chapter, uncovering the message God has buried in the spoken and unspoken words of your story so that you can turn the page on the past and begin a new chapter with Him.
Online Counseling – Mon, Wed & Fri
Amanda is only taking online clients for the foreseeable future.
We can create meaning out of problems and discover hidden strengths and uncover pearls of insight. I am gifted with drawing out the treasure in the lives of those I am privileged to work with. God is always creating a new thing in us even in the midst of hardships. Restoration is at the core of God’s character. Isaiah 43:16 states,
“See, I am doing a new thing! Now it springs up; do you not perceive it? I am making a way in the desert and streams in the wasteland.”
Life can often resemble a wilderness where we feel lost and discouraged. Together we will work to gain direction, clarity and discover the signs of new growth and hope. A new perspective into our struggles often bring about freedom and empowerment and can lead toward the process of personal renewal. I would be honored to walk alongside you in your therapeutic journey towards healing and wholeness.

She assumes a holistic framework taking into account the body, mind, soul and spirit. She also draws upon biblical truths and relies on the Holy Spirit’s guidance in sessions. Individual counseling is a time for you to explore and understand the deeper parts of you and regain and rehabilitate the parts that have been hidden or lost beneath pain. I believe you have unique strengths and resources that can help you achieve your goals and overcome your struggles. My role is to provide you with support, understanding, empathy, feedback and strategies so you can heal from the hurt and discover your true potential. My colleagues describe me as being a compassionate, warm and attentive therapist. I am also an active therapist, which means I provide you with direct feedback, practical strategies and at times homework. Testimonials
Amanda is a dear friend, a highly trusted colleague of nearly a decade (I am a therapist as well), and also an inspiration. Her courageous pursuit and engagement of her prophetic gifting and love of the Lord has touched my life in important ways on several occasions. I have very gladly referred clients to her, and have many times heard glowing reviews of stellar therapy work from those I have sent to her and received from her. She is mastering her craft as a therapist, has produced impressive change in my client’s lives, and is a spiritual giant I respect and admire greatly. Rather than saying I recommend her without reservation, I should count it a true gift and privilege if you are able to work with her. If you are in the fairly difficult search for a therapist, I would suggest you have found what you are looking for and that you should at least contact her and see if she has room on her schedule.Andrew Engstrom
